Rising Sun
Like a rising sun, it's light so brilliant
She rises day to day, shining on those around her
She suffers an invisible rain storm
Trying to put out her light
It pours and strikes it's lightening
Leaving her burnt and hurt
She can't seem to find her shine
All her dreams and desires were snuffed out
To everyone around, she's still too bright a shine
What she doesn't know is how she appears to them
She thinks she's a ticking time bomb
But she compares to nothing
Her light is so bright it blinds her
She's left thinking herself worthless
But she's priceless
Oh yeah, she's priceless.
