Why did I make this choice?
Why can’t I turn back the hands of time?
So many times,

I wish,
That I wasn’t on this path,
So many times,
I wonder what could have been.
I could have been so much more,
Then I am now.
I could have lived a more fulfilling life,
Then I live now.
I wish,
That this wasn’t my path,
I wish,
That I didn’t walk the lonely way.
I could have had so much more,
Than I do now.
Then had so much,
And I took it for granted,
Now I have nothing,
And became one with it.
How could I do such a thing?
What is wrong with me?
Why couldn’t I see it back then?
Why must I live in a constant,
State of hindsight.
Oh so many times,
I wonder what could have been,
I wonder what my life would be like,
I wonder at what I would have,
I wonder if I would be happier,
Than I am now.
But I can’t change that now,
For this is my path,
Even if I don’t want it,
To be.
