I let my mind wander, to a faraway place.
Hoping time, would not become misplaced.
Creatures of sorts, and all different race.
Castles of crystal, twists of fate.
Things of imagination, only one can create.
Millions of colors, only words away.
People surround me, they seem to hallucinate.
Trapped, have to get away.
Running, but never seeming to move.
Screaming, waking up in the night.
Panic, everything's alright.

I also agree with the others. It is so hard to keep up the rhyme scheme, but you pulled it off. And very smoothly, might I add!
