like daffodil petals through my fingertips

Things just seem to slip

away

in spring.

I deep sigh full,

for they do say that the sweet

dust of flowers

makes
forget-me-nots.

But perhaps there’s been
numbness
in my blood before?

if only like rain

i could fall pure.
