I open my eyes as my alarm clock dings
This is it! This is it!
My first day of High School
What will it behold?
I jump out of bed and run to the bathroom
Grab my toothbrush and toothpaste
I must not be late!
Now my teeth are brushed, my hair is combed
Out to the bus I must go
Deep breaths as I hop aboard
This is my first day of High School
I don’t have to wait anymore.
