"Dandelion" (August 16, 2011)
Several shades of yellow
The dandelion dully shines against the grass
Standing alone,
Taking the pressure of the wind.
I know, little weed, what it's like
To be blown around
While trying to show your true phenomenal beauty
I see you, and you are stunning.
Standing strong and confident
Dealing with the life you were given
Though I can still pick you out;
In this giant field of greens.
Just always remember, beautiful flower
That every time I look out into the field,
It will be you that I will see
Because you shine like a single diamond in the sea.
