Make the mold,
Try to make us fit,
Then cut us down,
No matter what you do,
We can never fit it just right,
We dare to be different,
Do what you want,
But we are ever changing,
We are perfect in our own eyes,
Maybe not to yours,
Because perfection is the golden prize,
But we love who we are,
Not who you want us to be,
You can ground us and take our freedom away,
But there is one thing that you can never get from us,
That is who we are,
And that is something we are proud to say.
