I sit by the phone,
Waiting for a call
That I know will never come,

This love is crazier than it seems,
And it just hurts knowing
You and I will never be,
I know what I’m in for,
But I’m still playing the waiting game,

Sitting by the phone,
That I know never rings,
And….
I know exactly what it means….
