What A Poem Should Be
Who are you?
To say a poem must be 100 characters long.
I’m not writing
Some minute long song.
My words need not
To fill up the page.
I want no known structure
To act as my cage.
My thoughts must be free,
To wander about.
I watch them fall as they may,
And then watch them sprout.
The meaning a single word,
Can mean too much,
Making the reader
Cry and smile and such.
But, not in this website;
Words cannot be free.
Because a poem must have 100 characters,
As you can see.
