One More Day
Everyday's the same.
Everyday I sit in class hoping,
Wanting,
Wishing.
Everyday I think today's the day.
Today he will notice me.
Everyday I shoot side ways glances and small smiles. Everyday I'm disappointed.
The next day I come in with the same hopes.
The same wishes.
The next day I come wanting only recongnition,
For him to know I'm alive.
The next day I'm disappointed again.
One more day.
If he doesn't notice me I'm giving up.
One more day of silence.
One more day of rejection.
One more day of...
"Hey Samantha, what's up?"
