I found God that summer,
Just south of the equator.
I found him
in the kind man's eyes.
Past his poor disguise,
he is rich.
Richer than me.
He has found the happy
in his poverty.
I found God that summer,
Just south of the equator.
I found him
in all the childrens wonder.
Who don't know the better
this world could offer.
All the while
they still smile,
because they don't need the world.
I found God that summer,
Just south of the equator.
Through thick jungle
and down dirt roads.
I found God.

I never even noticed about the apostrophe haha! I'm not so great on grammar. Thanks. And yes, I did go on a missions trip. I went to Brazil and it was amazing.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain.

Love it. a couple things though there should be an apostrophe on the childrens' wonder. and then instead of "He has found the happy"I would say "Hehas found happiness." it doesn't matter if it rhymes because poverty rhymes with me. i absolutely love the meaning. Did you go on a mission trip?
