Dizzy
We rumble steadily on,
as a million faces
who see nothing
yet
feel and know everything
stare blankly over
our fragile heads.
We move.
They remain static, stoic
in the fervent crowd.
We burst forth
into the maddening waves
of sound and light,
weaving in and out
of a million different
stories and sighs.
'Round and 'round and 'round it goes. Where it stops, nobody knows.
