On the inside,
everyone has a different side.
Mine is rebellion.
They cannot control me,
and they will not control me.
I am myself.
Just me.
They will not change me.
I shun those that try.
I refuse to be your puppet.
I never will be.
Do not tell me I can not do something.
I will prove you wrong.
I will not be torn down.
I am that building with missile-proof glass,
made of armor.
Surrounded by buildings of glass,
that fall down one by one.
But I do not.
I will be the one to jump
when no one else will.
You will not treat me like a child,
a mere infant in a world of hurt,
I will always be stronger than you.
I am a rebel.

I have never liked being bossed around or treated like a child. So i put my heart into this poem from memories of growing up.
