Hello to the city,
A glorious wonder of specters.
Approaching it with awe
Would be an understatement.
The orange lights illuminating the concrete,
The buildings tremble over you.
A lunatic would be frantic,
The giants of the city never leave, they follow.
The blocks are endless,
A map could lose itself.
The steam and smoke topple over towers,
Filling the air smugly.
A mixture of culture and it's food
Collide with the essence of the air.
The smell of the city,
It's iconic like Coca Cola.
I drink it endlessly,
If it was always available to me.
Present me a city,
I'll show you it's pride.
A tribe unshaken,
A family forever.
The city never sleeps,
When you do, Keep one eye open.
