Favorite Quote:
"Poetry flows. Right from my heart, to the paper. The best poems create themselves within your heart, and your mind...well, the mind interprets them... See, think of your heart as the artist, and your mind as the audience... get it?"

After Dark
when the lights go down
the animal comes out to play
ripping my flesh and igniting a flame within me
like acid boiling from the inside of my belly,
through my lungs
the fire consumes me
taking over my body, my mind
heat overrides my senses, silencing my conscience
and I become a person I barely recognize
one I don't acknowledge
I lose control control, but it feels...
So good.

My inspiration for this poem came from one of my favorite books, Blood and Chocolate.
