All her life,
Broken she
Spoke with a voice,
A whisperous calm.
Trapped beneath burning lights.
Bittersweet, atop dusty shelves.
Broken she
Wanders the lonely streets,
With weary feet,
A mighty strength.
Trapped, atop a dusty shelf.
Bittersweet, the faded lights.

The author's comments:
A woman so down on her luck, spends so much of her life searching. So long searching, she can't even remember what started her on her journey in the beginning. But no matter how hard life gets, she won't let it show. Won't let it stop her. But inside she remains broken.
