A Man At Doom

A Man looks at
the pale face of another man
father time gives a striaght face
he points to a glass
it holds southern sand with
a silver hair on top
the man lookat it
the hour is running
with each grain
two women break the glass
they straighten the silver hair
and with gold siccors
cut it
the man looks but
Father time is gone and in his place is th iron gates
with a golden road
