"Poetry flows. Right from my heart, to the paper. The best poems create themselves within your heart, and your mind...well, the mind interprets them... See, think of your heart as the artist, and your mind as the audience... get it?"

Strewn up, strung out
Bleeding, breaking, vengeful shout
Padded walls, metal locks
Binding ties and lightening shocks
Iron bars this colorless cage
Spend my nights now in a haze
of medical scent and eyeglass tint
White lab coat's new experiment
Crazed and dazed a jigsaw mind
Gently crude and deadly kind.

Random things spark my imagination.. this poem came to me while watching Girl Interrupted.

Thank you! I don't know how many poor trees I go through sometimes but I'm glad they haven't been wasted:)

I've been reading your poetry and it's really good! I love how you can put so much emotion into such a small space.
