Dancing around,
A puppet without a master,
Twining through the branches,
Black as ink, thick as blood,
Thorns scratch,
Wood breaks and the sound pulses,
Wolves stalk prey,
Seeking shelter,
Blind without light,
Time holds its breath,
Bats laugh loudly,
Sound fills ears,
Life makes sense to no one,
Dawn breaks,
The sun burns,
Time sighs,
Colors fade away,
Only black and white and red,
Blind to emotions,
No pain, no joy, only movement,
Move forward,
To where?
