Nobody's Child

I'm no body's child.
I'm no body's child.
I come from the dust of the streets,
And the dirt of the park.
Created by the little screams
And the whispers of the night.
Carried by the cries of a young girl
And the hurt of her past.
Self taught to feel no pain,
To move on from the bad,
To be a better person,
To never fall back.
I'm in need of no one.
