Red Pencil Poems
I like writing poetry
In red pencil,
Outline dreams and machines,
The kinds that kill.
They like burning books and things.
Then they feel free,
Of standards, Truth, and cursed rings.
Goodbye boundaries
He likes watching her dance.
Butterfly wings.
Oblivious to her trance,
But, she can sing.
We like nothing.
We like everything.
We like idealistic dreams.
We like tentative plans.
We like you.
Yes, we LIKE YOU
LIKE YOU
YOU
you.
