Unearth Your Key
Someone shut the glass
They locked my feelings out
A little gold key sunk deep into the blue
And here I am
Trapped in myself
Unable to scream
I lay my palms
Against the glass
Heave them back
Swing at the glass
And Stop short
I want to set the glass in pieces
Ignite
Set them soaring
Set them high
Throw my hands up
Scream
Cracks form
And rain sinks through
Drowning my heart
Weakening its might
And escaping through my eyes
Maybe I closed that door
Let the key drown within me
Only I can unbolt the glass
Let the gold shine from within
And ignite
