Rain or Sun
If i had to choose between the rain or the sun.
My choice would overtake me.
The rain pours storms into floods,
And it flows angry and passionate.
Yet, without the raindrops,
There will be no rainbows.
Without the raindrops,
There will be no flowers.
“So perhaps,” i think, “Choose the sun.”
Because with the sun, You never have to worry.
Children can play in the sun,
With Glee. With peace.
Yet, the choice of the Sun or the Rain still hurts me.
Because one bright day, I’ll wonder.
A small piece of me will wonder.
What it feels like, when it pours.
And I fear, I will never know,
What it feels like,
To dance in the rain.
