Dear, Mom and Dad
Parents say they want to help you.
They just don't understand.
They say,
"Trust me, I won't punish you."
How can we be sure?
We won't admit it in our adolescence,
but all we want is their approval,
their understanding.
Them to realize, were not perfect,
only human with our defects.
Not pristine,
only a teen.
It's not purposeful rebel,
just pressure can be hell.
I'm sorry mom and dad.
Please forgive me and realize why
I just can't tell.
