Never Let You Go
The wind blows,
As leaves crunch,
Beneath our feet.
Our hands intertwine,
And our hearts beat.
I feel our love growing,
Through every step we take.
But it has to end,
This has to stop.
Our last walk:
By the river,
Crossing the wooden bridge,
Taking our last steps, together.
And as tears stream down my face,
You take my hand,
You hold me tight.
And even though I know you are leaving,
My heart will never let you go.
