I just wish I could tell you the truth,
Before was so new and innocent,I never felt insecure or wondered if your love was untrue
Everything then felt so real,but ever since the middle of 8th grade everything has been coming unglued
I feel as though all we do is play pretend,put on happy faces and make people believe our relationship isn't dead
I want what we had back then,when everything didn't seem like pretend
It's sad to say,but sometimes I'm happier when your away I don't want this to be the end,so lets go back to how we were and start making things fun again
But if you don't want to I guess I understand,we've been together for so long it's kinda crazy when your young
