"This is the very first page, not where the storyline ends, my thoughts will echo your name until I see you again..." ~Taylor Swift "Enchanted"

Your past is but shadowed,
Your present is faded.
Your smiles are guarded,
Your intentions blank shaded.

A mystery of darkness,
A child of the night,
A glint of brightest stars,
A dull whisper of spite.

You’re a betrayer, dear darling.
I’ve known since the start.
You’re an illusion, dear darling,
Sent to tear me apart.

Your mind is corrupted,
Your clothes are darkest black.
Your language is tainted,
You deny all of fact.

A fallen angel of sorts,
A silent reminder.
A toxic, bitter voice,
A deadly quick rhymer.

You’re a betrayer, dear darling.
I’ve known since the start.
You’re an illusion, dear darling,
But you’ve captured my heart.

This is honestly an experiment. I'm really not into this type of poetry but the rhymes just sort of flowed out of my pen. So, whatever-tell me what you think! :)
