"Plain is Not the Same"
Things were plain,
all just the same.
Routine playing over and over again.
What's plain is plain,
the same is the same;
but you ignite my flame.
Like a needle to a starving vain.
Now nothing is plain.
I do not know the same pain.
You brought me to life again.
You put plain to shame.
when you say my name.
It is never the same.
So who's to say what is plain?
Because nothing has been the same
since you took away my pain,
and ignited my flame.
You have given life to my love-hungry vain.
