Rose, delicacy is not your best outfit
You pretend, put up a good mask
Yet you still manage to fall short
Thorns peek out from underneath your clothes
Reminding the world all good things have a dark side
Oh rose, if not for you our world would be nothing
No longer would we have the drama and fights on which we thrive
Our world would be peaceful
No we would want that would we?
How lovely our world could and should be
But the rose
Prevents that from happening
