Sadness is a veil,
masking my light.
Confusion is the steering wheel
driving my life.
Disappointment is rain,
keeping me inside.
My mind is a swing,
swaying side to side.
Love is light,
making the pain fade away,
But love is glass-
It shatters every day.
Love may be laughter,
brightening up my face,
But love is scars on my heart
that can’t be erased.
