You don't have to hide from me,
I will never, ever hurt you.
I know you front and back,
So, don't pretend I don't understand.
Don't ever tell me I don't understand.
You can open your heart to me,
I'm not who she is.
My heart beats loud next to you,
But you pretend not to notice.
You never had to be anything for me.
Just the way you were was perfect for me.
Oh god, how I wish you were mine.
You're one of those little things,
That I think about before I drift off to sleep.
The things I want to make,
My reality.
