When I Cry
Just go ahead and try
To have a tear shed from my eye
Torture me with pain
Your work will be done in vain
Unlike crocodile tears
Mine have developed over years
To have sit in the dark
Be caught by only a tiny spark
For that of which you shall not do
For it is far greater than you
For the only way to have me shed a tear
Is to see another without fear
Or to see bravery beyond mark
To have another find their spark
To see this world in utter bliss
Without a single soul gone amiss
When fear is reversed with love
And reigned down from above
Where joy and laughter fill our skies
And where every heart easily flies
When life is brought up without pain
In a world where no souls sit in disdain
When the moon will light the dark
And souls in the street bellow hark
Hark we hear the angels sing
We are in no longer need of a king
For their will be a leader in every soul
And finally our world shall be whole
So I ask again can you make me shed a tear
No your evil soul cannot banish fear
For I cry not out of sorrow
But only for the light of tomorrow
Therefore I will give myself a reason to shed a tear
And I will forever hold this idea dear
