Rainbow
You sexually harassed me in class,
In front of everyone.
You thought it was funny.
You thought it would make you popular.
Did you think about what it would do to me?
Did you think it would scar me for life?
Did you think I would like it?
Did you think I would like you?
I did like you.
Before you took advantage of me,
Of my own body.
I was helpless,
Nothing to do,
But hope it would be over soon.
As for you, my classmates,
We sit in hour long assemblies,
All about bulling,
And you did nothing.
Do you feel disgusting?
Did you think it was funny?
But I talked to you today,
And I saw a side I never did.
An honest side.
A loving side.
A troubled side.
I liked the person I saw,
Different than the person I first met,
And very different then this monster you became.
But when a person shows you their true colors at first,
You need to paint a truthful rainbow.
I don’t know what to do.
I know I’m not falling for you,
But I want to be friends.
Can I ever forgive you?
