Favorite Quote:
"Love comes when manipulation stops; when you think more about the other person than about his or her reactions to you, When you dare to reveal yourself fully, When you dare to be vulnerable"

Tangoing with lady river
Can be a precarious thing
She moves this way and that
Her forceful ways sometimes incontrovertible
Yet still alluring to those of us brave enough
To tango with lady river
Every move rough yet graceful
To be unknowledgeable of the dance floor makes it tricky
Step off line
She engulfs you in a watery chamber
Propelling you through her features
With a fierce force, lady river shows no mercy to weak willed
Or to those who can’t hold their own
Elegant and complex
To tango with lady river is to tango with fate

Recently (the last 20ish weeks) I've began to learn to kayak. In these months I've learned to appreciate the river more and more. This poem doesn't give much justice to the beauty of the river but I tried.
