I didn't know friendship was meant to hurt.

I thought we were friends
You never even acted like
Anything was wrong
But now I find out
From some random person
That you’ve been calling me
Hurtful names behind my back
Did you just want some attention?
Are our definitions of friendship different?
Have you always felt like this?
If I bother you so much
Why are you acting like we’re the same?
What stings the most
Isn’t that you’ve been backstabbing me
But the people you’ve been venting about me to
I thought we were cool
I thought we were tight
And I thought you had my back,
Not a knife in it
