To think that our
future is in the
hands of people who
would make up rumors
about a peer getting
raped? As if that’s
something to joke about.

Where the people we
love are willing to
risk their lives and
those of the people they
‘love’ by driving drunk,
just so they can get
cigarettes in support of

their bad habits. What
happens when you crash,
and take away the
life of another? Someone
who was, is
loved by if not
by you, but by others?

What do you do
when your children suffer
through the pain, then
die from the things caused
by the smoke they’ve been
exposed to their whole lives?

What type of world do
we live in when
fathers, mothers
can rape and abuse
their sons and daughters
as if they are nothing to them?
What would you do

if the whole world
crumbled around you?
Would you still turn to
the bottle? Would you
still be the death of
your own children?
Would you sit in the

corner and cry? If
these were your last
few hours, is this really
what you want to be doing
with your time? Is this
really who you want to be
remembered as?

If you knew what was
to become of this
would you change it?
Would you be the one
to stop some one from
getting behind the wheel,
will you be the one to save

a life?
