Beautiful Dream

My heart was broken, for it was so open, it beats once twice then subsides, for you have left me so open and yet so broken. My love for you was never in vain, and though I lay here so alone I know that for a moment you were here. So I bid adieu on this very night, my life, you and me were just a beautiful dream, the end to a tragic flight.
