She's Just a Shadow

Her life is a simple sheet of paper;
blank, white, ready for a mark to be made.
But where's the pen?
Who's the author?
She doesn't know...
Everyone sees the outside,
if only people really knew what was going on in the inside.
She longs for people to want her,
for someone to care about her problems and secrets.
But in her world,
everyone is broken,
empty with no answers.
She longs for her world to be different,
for that blank, white, simple sheet of paper to be filled.
Where's the pen?
