To Mason:
You're the big brother
You'll learn that he needs love
You must be fair
He won't always understand
Why you do things
But you must be patient

He will learn
Like you did
Like I did

You were the first
I saw you
You were little
But now you're big
I can't believe how small you were
But you were big
Bigger than
Life in my eyes

I won't always be here
So take up your brother
In caring arms
Don't let him fall
But build him up

You might not understand now
But in time you will
You will understand
More than he
Or I
You will love
But I will always love,
You as the first

To The new Baby Boy

I see you waving
From the pictures on the screen
I know you'll grow up strong
Like daddy
Like big brother
Like Big Big brother

You'll be tall
Not in height
But in wisdom
From a step
To the world

You'll be far
Farther from trouble
You'll be safe
From pain in life

You'll know God
You'll be strong in His Word
Nobody's perfect, but
You'll do the right thing
It might not seem right
But God will lead

You speak with him
In the womb
Learning the ways of life
Learning that you must grow

You will be a son
To a father with a troubled past
You'll need to respect him
With your heart
He's learning
But still needs work
He needs your trust
And understanding

To Both of my Brothers:

I will love you both
I may not always be here
But I promise
That I will be there
For Music concerts
For band concerts
For anything
And everything
I will love you both
Equally
You will grow up strong
Strong
In Life
Knowledge will guide you
As god did
And will
You will fight
You will argue
But all in all
You will love each other

The author's comments:
This is a piece of poetry that I wrote to my little brothers. I'm the oldest but I know I won't be around after high school. This I hope will help them to know that even when I'm gone I'll still love them.
