nothing but a glimpse
a skeleton

around me
we are the walking dead

every day
the take more
and more
of us
they take us to the gas chambers
to kill the spirit
because there's no body left
no body at all
nothing but shadow
they kill the shadow girls
because we scare them
they expected us
to be dead
by now
so they marched us
to Auschwitz
to kill us

because that’s all that’s left
