Love Poem
Golden round coins
Set into marble
I am mesmerized
Sell my soul, life, breath
For those two coins
I cannot own them
I only wish
For the coins to own me
The coins stare at others
I become insane
But the coins return
They purchase me
I would do anything
To keep those coins aimed at me
To buy, with those coins,
A kiss that kills and rebirths me as a slave
I lose my breath
For the coins are endless vanity
Greed, gluttony; simply
I want them.
