Until the End
We are in kindergarten
Playing during recess.
He shared his fruit snacks
And I shared my juice.
No troubles, no worries.
We are in Elementary school.
We live in two different worlds.
He goes to Valle Vista. Me-Little Lake.
We visit each other as much as possible.
No troubles, some worries.
Middle school rolls around.
Same classes, same hobbies, same lunch time.
We value each other’s company.
His house, then my house.
Some troubles, some worries.
High school.
Countless hours spent together.
Friendship stronger than ever.
He is my brother. Me – his sister … basically.
We graduate in two years.
Him – the army.
Me – Brigham Young University.
Some troubles, many worries, yet great memories.
