Silent Screams
Depression is slowly setting in
neediness, sadness, loneliness, anger
all because of him
your bright blue eyes, now dull
your lifeless soul now sinks and hides
cuts, slowly spreading up your arm
deeper and deeper they go
he stands and watches as if it's nothing
you need him
you crave him
the familiar warmth of his body turns cold
you think he doesn't care, but he knows
your silent screams are penetrating his soul
