The heart shall break... But broken live on.

It was just another day,

The bus door closed and we were on our way.

I leaned back and closed my eyes,

Waiting for the sun to rise.

Shifting around in my seat,

I started drifting off to sleep.

The run who had all my trust,

The ruler of this filthy bus,

Took a left and not a right.

My destination is no where in sight.

So to myself, I softly say,

"We're simply going a different way."

I'm not sure why, I'm not sure how,

I'm not sure what this is all about.

I shifted in my seat and tried to speak up,

He yelled at me to keep my mouth shut.

People are scared, it shows on their faces,

We mentally go through all the basics.

I close my eyes, filled with alarm,

We turn into an empty farm.

He stands up and grabs a gun,

A symbol of punishment if we try to run.

He says he hates us and doesn't care,

Where he has to go from here.

Maybe he's ill, Maybe he's crazy,

My memory's a little hazy.

He goes to the back and starts screaming,

A grin on his face while his eyes are gleaming.

He grabs a gun and points it at her,

Her body starts to shake and quiver.

I close my eyes from all the tears,

And think back on all the years.

The gun goes off and people scream,

I really wish this is a dream.

1, 2, 3, 4,

Another body hits the floor.

I hear the footsteps coming closer,

When will this nightmare be over?

I feel the cold barrel against my head,

In a second I'll be dead....
