Fluorescence in the Dark
When concluding upon the end of twilight,
It is one song that I am left to sing
And be one vocalist, I inhale the dusk
New England wonders freeing my soul of mourning
With the physique of its nature, mountain so tall
I gasp of all inception of reality,
And standing among the dirt pathway to love,
It is you for whom I thank of freeing my mentality.
My dear savior, I write to you now, exposing the contours of my soul
And be one miraculous voyager,
It is among my journey that you have made me whole.
And though the stars shall twinkle, with never recognition of what gravity you defied
It was not your presence that constructed this earthly palace, as it was based upon the perception of your eyes
With all intention, it is you for whom I thank, each day of mine a spark
Far from our universe, you sing from another place
Like fluorescence in the dark.
