Who Am I?
Who am I?
Who am I?
A teen?
One who giggles and laughs with all of her friends, one with hidden thoughts that are never seen?
Who am I?
A child?
So naive and simple, so tender and mild?
Who am I?
A soul?
One from long, long ago, mature and complex, keeping everything whole?
Who am I?
A beast?
With raging anger and power, on gnawing fear I shall feast.
Who am I?
A nothing?
Ignored and left be, full of hatred and sadness, on hope I can cling.
Am I this; am I that; am I all that’s been stated?
Am I just a sad girl, who has never felt elated?
I want to know who I am, where my purpose may be
But is it possible that I am only a me?
