Shot in the heart by your words
As the winds carried them down the darkness
Always to leave a bloody hole
And stay there forever
A small, sharp bullet
From your gun
Slowly poisoning me
As I slowly die
No mercy you have
Greed is your soul
As I collapse
Into the green grass
You stand over me
Give me a kick for good measure
And then leave me there
Dying with your words
As the echo in my ears
As a church bell would at a funeral
The wind that stole your words
Takes my soul
Good-bye world
Because of you
