Happy Place
Often I have imagined of a place
A place that rules my dreams
Hidden on the backside of my eyelids
Rolling green hills of short manicured grass
A perfectly placid twilight
A gentle breeze rolling through my hair
The air is cold, crisp, and soft
The sky a river of stars
The moon a tender mother looking on from above
The cool grass a cloud under my back
Through my closed eyes I hear pure, beautiful, silence
Sometimes I am joined by a girl
She comes skipping and dancing over the hills
Soaking up the moonlight
She is as gentle as the breeze
As tender as the moon
And as beautiful as the silence
