“The moment you think you understand a great work of art, it's dead for you.”

I must lie down where all the ladders start
In the foul rag and bone shop of the heart.
~William Butler Yeats

I want to lay my tired head
Upon the mossy ground
I want to get lost in the dead-end woods
And never again be found.

I want to lay my tired head
Upon this bed of clouds
I want to get lost in the heavens
And never touch the ground

I want to lay my tired head
Upon the icy floor
I want to stay in this haunted house
And lock every open door.
