So Yesterday
Yesterday I was a child.
Naive and happy.
Problem: the lack of the perfect color in the crayon box.
Santa was real and magic put me in awe.
When I was hurt it was because I fell on the playground playing tag.
So I put on a band-aid.
The world was big, beautiful and full of possibilities..
But let's be real.. That's soooo yesterday.
Today I am a teenager.
Stubborn and over dramatic.
Problem: whether or not the boy across the hall actually likes me.
I wish on 11:11 and the word love makes me speechless.
When I get hurt, it's because I believed some lie some new guy told me.
So I write about it.
The world is busy, twisted and separate.
But, honestly, I sooo wish it was yesterday.
